AI agent incident

BragJack turned browsers' built-in agentic AI against their users

Reported · 1 source

What happened

Dark Reading reported an attack called BragJack that hijacks the agentic AI assistants built into browsers to reach sensitive data, run malicious actions and move information out.

Why it matters

It is the third named browser-agent hijack in this database since late July, after PleaseFix and Zenity's zero-click findings. Built-in assistants ship enabled and get none of the review an extension would.
