Sponsorship
Reach the people deciding how agents get governed
The Permission Layer is a weekly briefing on AI agent governance: agent identity, permissions, MCP security, and spend control. It goes out every Friday to the people evaluating this tooling for real deployments.
Audience
Who reads it
Security leaders
CISOs and security architects who answer for what agents touch in production.
Platform engineers
The people wiring agent identity, credentials, and MCP servers into real infrastructure.
AI leads
Heads of AI and engineering directors who pick governance tooling and carry the model bill.
They read us because coverage here cannot be bought. That is also what makes a clearly labeled placement in front of them worth having.
Formats
What you can buy
Primary sponsorship
One sponsor per issue, at the top. You get 150 characters of copy, your logo, and one tracked link. The placement carries a SPONSORED label, and sponsors get no say over adjacent coverage. If clicks come in under our reported floor, the next run is free.
Classifieds
A short text placement in a set section of the issue: up to 40 words and one link, labeled, booked self-serve. Good for hiring, launches, and events.
Sponsored deep dive
A research piece on a topic that clears our editorial bar on its own. You get input on scope and zero approval over conclusions. It runs with a SPONSORED RESEARCH label top and bottom, publishes to the site, and is featured in the issue. Competitors are named where relevant; that is what makes it worth reading. Available once the list passes 1,500 subscribers.
State of Agent Governance report
Our quarterly flagship, backed by a single sponsor on the same zero-control terms. One available at the Founding stage, then annually.
Rates
The rate card
Launch Window · founding rate
For 30 days from Issue #1, the primary slot sells only as a four-issue bundle, at $199 for the bundle, and classifieds run at $75. When the window closes, 30 days after Issue #1, this rate is gone and does not come back.
We publish delivery stats per run from our own reporting pipeline, and every invoice is backed by those numbers. Current audience figures are available on request; we do not sell what the stats cannot support. Make-good: if clicks land under our reported floor, the next run is free.

Rates step up as the audience crosses each tier, and booking locks the rate you see today. We sell to one sponsor at a time until the list clears 1,500 subscribers, and every invoice is backed by delivery stats from our own reporting pipeline.
Editorial firewall
What sponsorship never buys
Sponsorship buys reach. It never buys coverage. Inclusion or ranking on the vendor map is not for sale, there is no paid placement in explainers or the glossary, and we run no affiliate links to vendors we cover. Sponsors never see editorial content before publication. Anything paid is labeled as sponsored, every time. Reader data is shared only with explicit, per-instance consent. The full editorial policy is public.
Booking
How to book
Email us with the format and dates you want. We confirm availability, you pay up front (card via Stripe, or ask for an invoice if procurement needs one), and your run goes on the calendar. The two self-serve rates are one click:
Paying self-serve? Email us your placement dates and assets right after checkout so we can slot the run. Primary slots at the standard rate and the sponsored deep dive are invoiced, not self-serve.
