Forever Security researchers showed that one browser extension can hijack the AI assistants in Chrome, Comet, Edge, Opera Neon and Claude.
The attack surface is shared across vendors, so changing browsers does not change the risk. Extension permissions are assistant permissions now, and extension review was not written for that.
