AI agent incident

Google GTIG saw an autonomous agent framework harvest thousands of credentials in six hours

Reported · 1 source

What happened

Google's Threat Intelligence Group reported a financially motivated group using an autonomous multi-agent framework to collect thousands of credentials in under six hours.

Why it matters

Six hours sits inside most detection and response windows rather than outside them. Non-human identity monitoring either runs at that pace or it is only good for writing the postmortem.
