AWS patched AgentCorruption, a Bedrock AgentCore flaw that let one prompt reach a whole agent fleet

Reported · 1 source

What happened

Dark Reading reported a now-patched flaw in AWS Bedrock AgentCore, called AgentCorruption, that could let an attacker use a single prompt to one AI chatbot to take over every agent an organization runs.

Why it matters

One chatbot was enough because of what the agents had in common. Confirming the patch is the easy part. The harder part is listing the permissions your AgentCore agents share, because any agent that reads outside prompts carries that whole list as its blast radius.
