What happened

Hacktron used AI-assisted research to find a widespread software decoder flaw that gave remote code execution and access to Meta's product suite and an OpenAI repository. It has since been patched.

Why it matters

Agent-assisted vulnerability hunting keeps landing on code that was considered well reviewed. Patch windows sized for the old discovery rate are the first thing that breaks.
